Workflows for Picklist Field Updates:

Update Lead Picklist Field on Logged Task or Event

This Swantide Workflow is great for anyone who wants to automatically update a Picklist Field when an Activity (Task or Event) is logged on a Lead or Contact record. For example, if a Task or Event is created on a Lead Record, you can use the above workflow to update the Picklist Field “Lead Status” to “Working.”

Workflows for Slack Notifications:

Slack Notification for a Picklist Value on Lead Records on Lead Create

This Swantide Workflow will send a Slack Message to a designated Slack Channel when a Picklist Field is set to a specific Picklist Value on Lead Create or Update. For example, when a Lead is created or updated and Marketing Stage (Picklist Field) equals the value of "MQL" you can have a Slack Message sent out to a Slack Channel such as #MQL-Leads.

A prerequisite for getting started with this Workflow is to first set up Slack for Salesforce which can be found in this article

Workflow for Automating Opportunity Creation:

Automatically Create an Opportunity Based on a Value on a Free Text Field

When a Free Text Field is populated with a specific string value on a Contact Record, this workflow will automatically create an Opportunity for the Account that the Contact belongs to. With additional variable inputs, you can set which Account Type the Opportunity should be created for as well as the Opportunity Type and Lead Source.

For any teams that use Chili Piper, this Workflow is for you! Chili Piper comes with a Free Text field such as “Meeting Type”. Therefore, if “Meeting Type” = “Demo Request”, Salesforce will then create an Opportunity based on the Account and Contact.

Workflow for Product Data Customers

Sync a Specific Picklist Value Between Product Instance Record(s) and Lead

For those of you using Swantide’s Product Data Package, this Swantide Workflow can help you update the corresponding Picklist Field on the Lead Record.

For example, say you have a Picklist Field called “Subscription Status” on both the Lead and Product Instance Object. Using this workflow, when a Product Instance record is created or updated with the Picklist Field “Subscription Status” set to “Active,” this workflow will then update the related Lead’s Picklist Field “Subscription Status” to “Active.”
